Silicon Valley was not always Silicon Valley
It used to be known as the Valley of the Hearts delight because it was beautiful in the Spring with all the fruit trees blooming
Six lane wide Stevens Creek Blvd. used to be two lanes, with sand for sidewalks and was lined with Prune and Apricot trees.
There was no highway 17 from the East Bay. You got to San Jose by taking the Warm Springs Blvd. - two lanes all the way. There was a Giant Orange stand on East Santa Clara st.
And you could still go to the Berryessa district and buy the worlds BEST Bing Cherries.
