Gahan Wilson had a show at the Maiden Lane Gallery in San Francisco in 1991

I followed him around the gallery for an hour or so in order to do his portrait. It was when he stopped to talk to Mark Cohen that I captured him and also when he signed autographs. I finally got to talk to him in order to get him to sign my drawing

He looked suave in a tan safari Jacket, which had what looked like a thousand pockets. Not at all like his bizarre drawings.
